Request a Training

The process of applying for compensation can be complicated – especially for someone dealing with trauma. The more you, as an advocate, can assist with the compensation process, the more we can ease the burden victims face when dealing with the aftermath of a crime.

The Violent Crimes Compensation Board will provide training as requested to advocates. These trainings are designed to understand the overall process, help advocates feel more comfortable assisting victims with the application and understand limits to help set expectations for applicants.
